Black Na'angi

Black Na'angis are meat eating alien theropods from the planet Ota' noonga. 

In contrast to most other species of the Na'angi family which are mostly the size of large dogs, Black Na'angis are large enough to be used as mounts. Before the O'nungains developed powered vehicles, Black Na'angis were used as war mounts and means of fast personal transport for centuries.
